About the Role

Location: Lake County, Florida (in-home)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (30 hours/week, includes built-in planning time)
Start Date: April
Compensation: $45k annual salary

What You’ll Do

  • Plan and lead daily learning activities tailored to our child(ren)’s developmental needs

  • Create a calm, structured learning routine with warmth and consistency

  • Support early literacy, foundational math skills, and curiosity-led exploration

  • Incorporate hands-on, play-based, and developmentally appropriate activities

  • Provide weekly progress updates and communicate learning milestones

  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience (required)

  • Professional experience teaching young children (homeschool, classroom, or private setting)

  • Strong communication skills and consistent reliability

  • Comfort working within a home environment while maintaining professional boundaries

  • A philosophy that balances nurturing guidance with clear structure
